Star Wars Bedroom Under $100

Are you a Star Wars Fan? We are BIG Star Wars FANS! We just love watching Good Vs. Evil. How the Good have to Fight to Prevail! The creatures and characters are unique and it just brings back memories of our Youth. We created a Star Wars Bedroom with Border when Star Wars came out with Movies 1(The Phantom Menace) 2 (Attach of the Clones) and 3 (Revenge of the Sith). So you may ask, who got this room?? Well, you might be surprised to hear, that we didn’t have any kids at this time, our first child, came 2 years later. So this kind of became my husband’s, hobby and Star Wars collection room. We kept this room even when we had female Foreign Exchange Students live with us. They liked it and thought it was Unique and Different.

Star Wars Bedroom with Border

My husband knew right away which colors he wanted to paint this room. I was surprised that he didn’t choose the typical Red and Green from the Opposing Light Sabers. Instead he chose to paint the Star Wars Bedroom Yellow and Blue. We painted the walls, Naboo Yellow and Light Saber Blue. First, we had to measure where we wanted our “chair rail” for the border. We decided to add the border in the middle of the wall and at the top of the wall. After we marked a line with a level and pencil, we painted the upper half Naboo Yellow and the lower half of the wall, Light Saber Blue. Then we applied the border which was super easy, because it was a vinyl sticker, not actual wallpaper. It was easy to peel and position while we made it straight. We purchased the border from a Seller on Ebay. Last, we bought several posters from each of the first 3 movies and protected them in poster frames. We bought the posters and frames at Wal-Mart.
