DIY No Sew Curtain Panels

Welcome to another Craft/Decor Tutorial and Room Transformation.  Today, I invite you into our dining room, turned Office.  This is our 3rd Home (1st Foreclosure).   When we moved into this home, it was bare, Literally! There was no flooring or window coverings.  Since, we had a kitchen nook, we never used our Dining Room as a Dining Room.  Instead, we were in desperate need of an office, so we used our dining room as our Office.  It was the perfect location.  It has a huge window to the front yard, it’s right next to the kitchen, and it has a door from the living room and from the kitchen.  Therefore, we could close both doors and have some peace and quiet while we were working.  Since, the office has a large window, I wanted to create two toned curtain panels.  I decided to make no sew curtain panels.

I knew I wanted to carry the Green theme from our living room into this room.  Therefore, I painted the window wall green.  I like to choose the window wall as my accent color wall because the fabric from my curtains will really Pop against a color wall rather than a neutral wall color.  We also installed new cherry wood laminate flooring.  Since, some of my furniture also had a brown tone to it, I bought brown curtain panels from Wal-Mart.  Then I went to Hobby Lobby, and found some green, beige, and dark brown fabric.  It was perfect because my other office walls were beige.  I measured the length of the brown panels and cut my fabric the same length.  Then I used my glue gun to hem the edges. (You could also use sew adhesive).  Since, I wanted the majority of my curtains to have the print, I covered some of the brown panels with my print fabric.  Instead of sewing or gluing a pocket for the top of my curtain to fit through the curtain rod, I just glued the top of my print panels onto the Top Back of the Brown Panels.
